NYC Sports Fans

Some games deserve a room.

Tap in on the games you would actually show up for. When enough fans are in, we help turn that interest into a plan: the bar, the time, and the people.

The room in action

You bring the interest. We bring the room.

For fans who want the game to feel like something.

Not every game needs a room. The right ones do.

Playoff nights

Games that already have stakes and energy.

Rivalries

Knicks vs Celtics, enemy territory, charged room.

Solo-friendly

Come alone or bring friends. Mixed fanbases welcome.

Captain-led

A captain can anchor the room and make it easier to walk in.

THE KIND OF GAME

Not every game needs a room. The right ones do.

Playoff nights. Rivalry games. Top-seed Tuesdays. Finals weeks. Big national TV games. F1 race mornings. Premier League weekends. UFC cards.

You know the ones.

The best nights are the ones people come back to.

TheAssist started with fans looking for people to watch games with. The nights that mattered were the ones where people came back, brought friends, and started recognizing each other.

That is what we are building around.

CAPTAINS

Want to captain a room?

Captains welcome people in, run halftime trivia, and make it easier to walk in solo.

Right now: NBA. Adding more sports as we go.

Become a captain

You do not need to be an influencer. You just need to make the night easier.

FAQ

Questions you might have

If something matters for your brand, bar, or community, we probably have thought about it already.

Do I have to be a big brand or creator to use this?
No. You can start with a single club, a small local brand, or a tight friend community. The tools are the same for everyone, and you can scale up once it works.
What if only five or ten people show up?
This still works. Sponsors are paying for recurring content, alignment with a specific fan base, and the feeling of owning a club, not a 200 person blowout. Often the best nights are 8–15 regulars who keep coming back.
Do creators have to be at every event?
No. Creators attach their name to the club and promote it. Social captains and TheAssist handle the on site check ins, perks, and content so creators do not burn out.
Who finds the bar and sets up the specials?
Self-serve: you can use any venue. Managed: we can help you secure a venue and social captain, then shape a simple run of show for the night.
How long is the commitment?
Most partners start with a two month run for one club. That is enough time to see content, repeat fans, and fit. After that you can renew, add more clubs, or use the toolkit for your own events.
Can this work outside of sports?
Yes. The same model works for reality TV, F1, UFC, and any show that people want to watch together. If there is a fandom and a screen, we can make it feel like a club instead of a random night.
What if I just want to use the tool and not sponsor?
That is what the 39 dollars per month self-serve plan is for. You can run your own events with RSVPs, check-ins, group chat, and programming tools. If you later want managed help, we can scope that with you.
